GoNoodle revisited

I made a GoNoodle account years ago and I found it to be a bit overwhelming.  I've revisited it and am attempting to narrow down the activities I think will be most beneficial/helpful to my student population.

Starting with the categories page:

I really love ALL the Coordination videos including Cat Man and the Secret Handshakes.  The Cat Man brain exercises are all fun and challenging cognitive override motor activities and the Secret Handshakes are just plain FUN!  They also encourage teamwork and peer-peer interaction.  You can easily substitute a staff member for a peer partner for a student who is less able to work with a peer.  Could be a great ice breaking / gateway activity for positive peer interaction

The Calming page is a mixed bag of very childish videos / passive activities to more adult-like relaxation type of activities.  Select carefully for your intent and audience.  I like Elmo's Belly Breathe for youngsters  and AirTime space is a great visual/auditory breathing tool.

In general, notice the bottom descriptor of each activity.  The "Think About It" activities are totally passive and non-interactive.  Perhaps a good conversation activity about mindfulness?  The "Game On" activities are interactive and get the students involved.
