Charting The C's 2009 - Clicker 5 Resources






Below is a list of web resources mentioned in the training. Feel free to explore!



Using Clicker 5 in Your Classroom - taken from the Cricksoft website. This 32 page document does a great job sharing the potential for Clicker use in your classroom. You will have to look elsewhere for step by step how to guides, but start slowly.
Don't forget Learning Grids - a collection of already created activities ready for you to use immediately!

Some how-to guides:

1. Clicker Training Toolkits : If you want some help figuring out what to do, and like steb by step illustrations, why not use what the creators made!?!? These are by far the BEST resources for learning how to use Clicker 5 quickly, and they only cost a small fee. Just remember, there is no substitute for practice and actually using Clicker 5 to teach yourself what to do!

2. Atomic Learning : If you or your district has a subscription to Atomic Learning, there are many how-to video demonstrations to help get you started doing a wide variety of Clicker activities.

3. Help : How to make a home grid (like a launcher) and how to align cells.

4. hints and tips : From Cricksoft

5. Properties: My favorite thing - right click for properties, but NOW WHAT?

6. Pop-ups : This one is more advanced, but if you want to add some pop-ups, this is how it is done.

7. Talking Books : a 1 page cheat sheet for how to make a talking book.

8. SET BC : This link takes you to a download page where you can download a variety of well written and illustrated guides on how to use Clicker 5.
9. SWITCH access: This guide will tell you all you need to set up switch access with Clicker 5.
